The Sunband Suncream monitor is great way to help you detect how much harmful UV rays your skin is being exposed too and when to apply or re-apply sun cream. When you apply sun cream on your body, apply sun cream on the sunband at the same time. Once out in the sun, the Sunband will mimic the skin and change colours depending on the strength of the UV levels. When the Sunband changes green it is recommended to reapply sun cream on your body and the sunband. ( When you apply sun cream to the Sunband it resets the Sunband back to the yellow colour ) When the band turns blue, it is recommended to cover up or get out of the sun.
Use only one band a day per person, and then discard it.The Sunband suncream monitor is water proof.
This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin to the sun may increase the risk of premature skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin, even if no sunburn occurs. The use of a UV warning Sunband combined with limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing, and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of sun exposure. Such protective measures cannot eliminate these risks altogether.
